Our Wessex family of schools

Instrumental Lessons

The Thomas Hardye School is proud to offer private music lessons for voice and a comprehensive range of instruments for students who are passionate about music and eager to learn. Our talented and experienced team of visiting music teachers work with them one-on-one, providing personalised attention and instruction tailored to their needs and goals. Whether they are just starting out or already have a strong foundation in music, private lessons can help them improve their technique, develop their musical abilities, and unleash their creative potential. The music department has over twenty visiting specialist teachers who work within the Wessex MAT schools. Many of these specialist teachers are top-level professionals working with orchestras such as the Royal Opera House, the BBC Philharmonic and, more locally, the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. Approximately 200 lessons are taught per week across a range of instruments. Lessons are offered in:
