Our next Open Evening will take place on the 20th October 2026, between 6pm - 9pm, ready for entry next September. It is an ideal opportunity to meet our staff, see what subjects are on offer and get a taste of the wide range of enrichment activities available.

If you are unable to attend, then please email sixthformteam@ths.wessex.ac and we will do our best to ensure that the Head of Sixth Form can give you a tour of the school later in the term. Please do still make an application, especially as all external applicants will be invited into school for an Information and Guidance Meeting in the Spring, as well as getting the chance to attend a Taster Day in the Summer.

Following the summer break, we will publish a link so that you can start to register your interest in attending the Open Evening. For now, the "apply now" button should only be used for very late applications for September 2026.

At the Open Evening guests will receive a copy of the updated prospectus, entry requirements and option pools for 2027. However, all of these important documents will be on the website. At present these online documents are for 2026 entry.

We have great pleasure in welcoming guests from other schools and know that these new students really help make the Sixth Form what it is today. There is no catchment area for Sixth Form and all applicants are treated equally. The entry requirements are the most important factor to consider when applying. 

Applications for September 2027 can be made following the Open Evening, with an initial priority deadline of January 15th.
